We chage £10.00 +vat for a two year domain registration and then we charge £9.00 + vat to renew the domain for a further 2 years. Can I use my existing domain name with your services? If I register a domain name through you, can I transfer it elsewhere? Will there be a charge? How will I know when my domain name is due to be renewed? I've just transferred my domain name to your server, how long does it take for my domain name to start working? I wish to transfer my domain name to you, what nameservers should I use? Can I check when my domain names are due to be renewed? I have an additional domain name I want to point to my existing website, how can I do that?

FAQ Answers: Domain Names Can I use my existing domain name with your services? Yes, as long as you are able to change the nameservers for your domain name to HFM's nameservers, you can use your existing domain name. Please see our FAQ on transferring your domain name for further instructions. If I register a domain name through you, can I transfer it elsewhere? Will there be a charge? Customers are free to transfer their domain names at any time, we do not make any charges for transferring or releasing domain names.   How will I know when my domain name is due to be renewed? If you have registered a domain name with us, or transferred one to us (at the time of ordering a service), our customer account management system will monitor your domain name's renewal date and send you a reminder 14 days before the renewal date, and again 7 days before the renewal date. If you subsequently decide to use other domain names with our services (which you have registered elsewhere), then those domain names will not be in our system and so it will be your own responsibility to renew those domain names. If you wish, you can add domain names registered elsewhere into our system for renewals: just send an e-mail to support@btsonline.co.uk with your account username along with a list of the domain names you want added.   I've just transferred my domain name to your server, how long does it take for my domain name to start working? Domain name transfers usually take 24-48 hours before they begin resolving. This is the time it takes for the DNS to propagate across the Internet which is beyond our control.   I wish to transfer my domain name to you, what nameservers should I use? Our nameservers are: ns0.hostingforme.co.uk ns1.hostingforme.co.uk ns2.hostingforme.co.uk ns3.hostingforme.co.uk ns4.HFM.co.uk Please set your nameservers to a minimum of ns0 and ns1 for primary and secondary nameserving. If you wish, you can add additional nameservers for added redundancy.   Can I check when my domain names are due to be renewed? Please send in you domain to support and we will tell you when you need to renew it. Alternatively we can autom renew a domain for you. This is found in your starter pack when you first take out hosting.   I have an additional domain name I want to point to my existing website, how can I do that? Login to your cpanel, and from there click on Addon Domains, then add the domain name on the Addon Domain Maintenance page. Then select the newly-added domain and click on the Setup Redirection button and enter the URL of your website on the next page. Your addon domain name will now begin resolving to your website. Note: you must change the nameservers for your addon domain name before it starts resolving to our server.
